Privacy policy

The short version: the product does not phone home, and the website collects far less than most. Last updated 13 September 2026.

The product

AIOS Lite runs the model on your computer. Your prompts and its answers are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, because there is nothing on the other end to transmit them to. You can verify this by disconnecting from the network and using it normally — it keeps working.

Conversations are stored on the drive you are running from, in plain files. That has a consequence worth stating clearly: anyone who picks up your USB drive can read them. If that matters to you, use an encrypted drive.

Update checks

When you ask it to check for updates, it contacts our server and sends the version you are running. It does not send your conversations, your files, your machine name, or anything about what you use it for. Update checks are not automatic and not silent.

The website

We use our own analytics rather than a third-party service. Visits are recorded with the page, the referring site, and a coarse device type. IP addresses are hashed and are not stored in raw form. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not build advertising profiles.

Advertising on this site is served by AdServerAI, which we also operate, under the same rules.

Purchases

Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our servers — we receive a confirmation, the last four digits, and the email address you gave, which we use to deliver your download and to email you about your purchase. We do not add you to a marketing list.

Your data

You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it, through the contact page. Purchase records are kept as long as tax rules require, which is the one thing we cannot delete on request.

Questions about this page

Does the AI send my conversations anywhere?

No. The model runs on your computer and generates its answers there. You can confirm this by disconnecting from the internet entirely and continuing to use it.

Are my conversations encrypted on the drive?

Not by default. They are stored as plain files on the USB drive, which means anyone holding that drive can read them. Use an encrypted drive if that matters to you.

Do you use tracking cookies?

No. We run our own analytics, hash IP addresses rather than storing them, and do not build advertising profiles or share data with ad networks.

Do you ever see my card details?

No. Stripe processes the payment and we receive only a confirmation, the last four digits, and your email address.
